K-man the person who started this thread wasn't doubting the ps3, he was simply asking if a ps4 will be out soon because he didn't know if he should get a ps3 or not.

DOn't get me wrong, I am getting my PS3 when I get the Tv I have had my eye on for a while. The price has dropped by 500 - so I might hold off for another few months and let it get to 3 K when i get it... then the PS3 and a couple of games... by that time, GTA4 should be out.

With upper mgmt choosing the MS strategy of making something bigger, better and then leaving the old console behind, Sony is going to lose the battle if they do not pay attention to what their consumers want. But then again, maybe that is what they want as mgmt doesn't support gaming as a viable future...

sorry but I had to get that off my mind.

Well, if technology in the future is as good as in the video, then chances are there would be things to help prolong life and youth. So although those of us still alive then will be old (I'll be 93!), thanks to advances in medicine and technology, we should be able to enjoy the PS9. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

1. Sony hasn't gained any profits yet

2. The cost of developing a new system would be costly

3. Sony will have to market the PS4 again, which would cost even more

4. Sony fans will lose faith in the company

5. I would be real pissed

6. What's going to be in the PS4? How much would it cost to have all those "future" peripherals? $10 000?

7. I would kill Sony's boss

8. The forum's name is going to have to be changed to "My PS4.com.au"
