Well I have been playing bioshock for about an hour now. And may I just say it is dam cool.

Ok now to the more important issue. How well dose it run on my pc.

Now my specs are

AMD 5000+
NVIDIA 7600gs 512MB
4GB of ram

Now when I first ran the game it had everything turned on and the resolution at 1024X768 and it ran ok but it wasn’t quite there and was a bit jittery and slow.

So I turned off the shadows and real-time water reflections and Vsync and then it ran a little better.

then i gave my 7600gs a bit of an over clock with a 30/15MHz bump in core and memory clock frequencies respectively and its now running perfect with no slow down and or drops in frame rate.

it doesn’t look quite as nice with the reflections and shadows off but its a small price to pay to have it all run smooth. so there you go I have bioshock running totally fine on my pc. I might do some tinkering latter with the clock in my G card and I might get some more performance out of it but at the moment I am quite happy.

Quite agree it is definately up there but nothing beats one of my favourite series of all time Halflife!
