Apparently 2 reasons.

I don't bob up and down like normal people do whilst walking, my head just maintains an exactly straight level. (When people can't see my legs, it looks like I'm hovering.)

And also, I generally walk without making a sound.

Those two cover the creeping bit, the Jesus bit is just what people normally say when I suddenly appear behind them
