Start key + D is useful.
It minimises all.

Start key + E opens explorer.

Start key + L locks the workstation

More useful shortcuts yet to come

CTRL+ALT+DEL will bring up a menu where you can use the task manager, or lock, restart shutdown PC (vista/pc)

Ctrl + Alt + Del...
... the only button combination you'll ever need

08/28/2007 Knee deep in the dead...

Kiah says:

start > run > "shutdown -a" = Abort shutdown. Useful if you have a virus like the sasser one that shuts down your system.

start > run > "control userpasswords2" brings up a section where you can make your computer autologin.

Ctrl+shift+del in mozilla clears private data.

start > run > "dxdiag" brings up the directx thingy. Has useful info and tests for video and audio.

Start key + pause break opens computer properties.

import java.util.*;

public class recersion
{
public static void main (String[] args)
{
Scanner console = new Scanner(System.in);
int n =0;
System.out.println("what number whould you like to see the factorial of");
n = console.nextInt();
System.out.println(factorial(n));
}
static int factorial (int n){
if (n == 1) return 1;
else {
return n * factorial(n-1);
}
}
}
This is a version of class recursion. for calling out a recursive method function

lol yeh, great work there viny, but there is nothing wrong with java its good for cross platform compatablity and the compilers are about 100X better than ikky c++ ones but its no ware near as powerfull

but i just thought i share a litle program i put to gether last semester to test recersive methods so no need to worry im not going to start talking in code
