Yeah i agree why would a 300 dollar 1.5 m cable have a different picture quality to a say a cheaper brand 69 dollar 30 metre cable, i work at harvey norman i dont notice much of a difference

Abit rich, I bought a pair for $150 then found some at Dick Smith's Power House for $35 each.

I have one HDMI Monster Cable for sale if anyone is interested I bought it for $150 only bought yesterday and been sitting on my table if anybody is interested PM me.

The fact is that HDMI is digital, and it takes a lot of interference to stuff up a digital signal. So a cheap cable will do the same job as a ridiculously overpriced one.

Where do i plug the cords into the tele - there doesnt seem to be any port like in the back of the ps3???

My tv is 720p 1080i ready lcd.

Any thoughts?

I spent $170 on my HDMI cable. Could got a $30 one but went for quality instead. Works great with my 42" LCD.
