BTW I thought I'd mention that the Lego mod still has lag issues (when running 16 player) as demolishing all the lego buildings must take its' toll... it even crashed twice on me so far...
As soon as the patch for the PS3 comes out to allow for cross server gameplay, I'll be hosting heaps of matches for this game...
*edit* no physx card is required for the lego map, it works (most of the time) fine on PS3

Just thinking about downloading my first UT3 mod using the link above.
In Australia do we need to download the EU version or the US one? or does it even matter?
And while im asking questions, are there any other good UT3 mods worth getting. What are the best pages to get them from?

Yep! Straight from the PS3's web browser to any external device, then install in-game. Personally I connected 4 different devices so I could grab 4 Mods at a time (as the name must be the same for them all) and spent 2 nights grabbing every mod there and some characters from another site as well. I've got no one else to play it with, but it's awesome coming home almost everyday to a different type of game. Even if it's only for 10 minutes against the computer controlled bots.

Only for about ten minutes when I get home to try out the new mods. Have you tried UT3 2D mode on the sewer level, loads of fun. Sorry dude COD 4 is just way to popular.

Yeah i love COD4 but UT3 was different love playing CTF that is hell fun but the online gets laggy and i wish they make a patch because the game has been out for 2 months and we still cant oplay together

Here it goes... From ut3mod.com, step 1 choose your mod. Step 2 click the PS3 DOWNLOAD LINK button. Step 3 choose your memory device and press start on it. Step (damn im lazy) when it's finished downloading start UT3, go to MY CONTENT, press square, choose the relevent memory device, click on it. It will the install the mod to UT3, then unpack it to your calalouge. Next, enjoy your new modification

That exactly one of the 4 device I used with no worries... I used a 2gig san disc stick a 2 gig Sony Micro vault USB drive my 160gig western digital external HDD and my movie HDD, a 250 gig western digital external.

Just downloaded "Flatwars" from PC to USB then successfully trf'd and uploaded to PS3.. Alot easier than I thought!
Does anyone know if we can we play the mods online?

Hey Astrolite, Do you know weather that lego mod on UT3MOD.com is the same Lego mod as above? or are there a few of them, some not as good as others?
ahh bugga, just discovered that you cant place more than one mod on the USB at the same time, they all seem to have the same file name! argh. Pain in the a$$
