Playstation 3 Software & Firmware \ COD4 VERY BUGGY since Update 1.2

i have just updated my COD4 this morning, and even though it took a fair bit of stuffing around to get the download to work, it finally did, so i thought all would be swweet as

Since updating this morning, i have played approx 25 games online, with EVERY SINGLE GAME HAVING ISSUES.

Whether it be the "Server timing out" .... "Connection Interupted" .... and so on and so forth.

ALSO, another thing is that any challanges completed during the game or whatever, are lost because of all these issues. I have completed the 'Misery loves Company' challange about 15 times, and still it doesnt register that i have even done it at all.

Anyone else got the same issues since updating the COD game.

Also it doesnt register any challenges that have been completed either... i must have finished the 'misery loves company' challenge at least 15 times this morning, and it still hasnt said that i have completed the challenge.

it is really starting to piss me off .... its so bad, that i would waaay rather play with orange ping bars, and be as laggy as all hell ... at least then if i complete a challenge it will remember it

I had to up date a few days ago 11mb arfter i got really annoyed with cod4 and deleted every thing, one of my yank buddies asked me to join them because they'd just got the patch. So i stuck cod4 in and figured what the hell give it a go and arfter it had downloaded that 11mb file it worked! for the first-time ever it actually worked!! i played 4 games without lag ect? it was better than au?! haven't played it since then.

Yeah i am having the same problem. I was playing before and it says connection problems. I couldnt even use the net on my pc for about 15 mins. Stuffed everything up

Its F@#KIN BULLS#!T...

Man if it has F@#KED my computer/net Connexion etc i'm gonna be pissed

Because even though COD4 has a few bugs and glitches it's still a pretty sweet online shooter. The best in my opinion since CS and CS:S.

the patch has done me quite well, or its just a coincidence, that for whatever reason, today between 2.30 and 6pm (after patching) out of the 6 times i connected to servers, 4 of them were aussie.


i reckon the patch is the bomb, although the drop in latency seems to have coincided with adrop in skill: maybe us aussies are better then the yanks at COD4!!

:P
