As much as Id like the open beta to be part of 2.3 update I dont think it will be, some reports I read felt like it would still be another couple of months away so maybe middle of the year, hope im wrong thou.

I don't think Home Open Beta will be coming in the 2.3 Update (ie. tomorrow). But I do believe the release date is getting closer, I shown the Closed Beta to a mate last nite and he was amazed that it was all free...

Yeah but it aint really gonna be all free is it, people (proberly me included) will get sucked into paying for new virtual furniture or clothes so thy can have something other dont. The whole concept is pretty dam cool thou.

Hmm i'm not really overly impressed with home atm. It seems really unnecessary atm. Like yeah it looks good and so on but i just think it's going to be a gimmick unless they really add something amazing to it. But then again there's hardly any people on it atm anyway so it always seems kinda empty when you're walking around so i guess that takes away some of the fun but hey it's a beta!
P.S. Technically home is a game.

i haven't looked much into it. but the main part is being able to connect with people (most probably friends), people from your country easier. rather than just going online, oh great americans, americans, americans, etc.

There actually used to be alot more people on home before they split the server into two regions, European and USA, as everyone would connect onto the same server. Yeah true there will be heaps of people using it when it's RELEASED but i'm really curious as to whether that will remain the same after people get used to it. There will of course be the home nerds constantly on there but how many people will just get tired of home? Time will tell i guess!
