i just called sony australia asking bout the update and cod4 map pack they told me that the update will be from late tonigth or by tom afternoon...

OK so just so everyone knows. there are three new catagories in the publick playlist ie. game modes. they are: Variety pack team deathmatch, Variety team objective and variety pack hardcore. they are dark grey so you can't select them but it says you can download them off the PSN store so keep waiting for them people.
