Well there are lots of reasons not to and too, get a ps3 from America..
For starters the good is its cheaper, more variety (40-80gb) and thats about it? and prob cheaper games..

But the bad and i mean the bad.. is if you get one from America is the shipping charges, if the PS3 breaks you have to send it back to America and thats more shipping costs, if you send it back to australian sony to get it fixed apparently it costs 150.

So decide wisely...
