Why do people buy games at EB, most of their games are at $110 bucks, when you can get it somewhere else for $89, like JB Hi-FI, all their games is under $100 bucks. EB is ripoff..... 
I only bought the blu-ray controller with the coupon with 50% off, and few time I walked in EB and wanna buy a games, then check it out at JB, end up buying at JB.
Last week, I want to get the Powerwave Playstation 3 Horizontal Light Stand w/fans only saw at EB, asked for the price then walk away, back then there is none on ebay, then found it on dstore, 20 bucks cheaper then at EB....
Why do people pre-order games at EB is well, their games won't release a day earlier....

uh, the fag at my local EB has refused to price match for me multiple times,
he said buy it for the marked price or dont buy it at all.
and places like JB and Big W usually sell for under RRP.

I know they do price matching as well, but they need to call up and confirm, I just want to get the game and play it, no waiting game please...

The staff at my store are nice, although i dont think they really know what there selling 
I buy at EB more than most other retail stores, (EBay FTW!) mainly because its the easiest place for me to get to

i go to big w or jb but sometimes my local kmart get games on the release and i go there. they BEAT the difference by 10%! i ended up getting assassin's creed for $88 bcause big w had it cheap and kmart had it for $120

I always go to EB, the staff is much nicer than any other shop (except some of my mates at DSE) and they are ALWAYS happy to price-match, even if the price is no longer available in the store of the catalogue I am showing.

That would be the reason why people price match at EB, they can get games like Heavenly Sword, finish it within a weekend (or even a day really) and return it FOR THEIR MONEY BACK. I'm sorry but you fail (I'm only rubbing it in because you called EB shoppers idiots, even though there are a few of us that are quite intelligent).
I only price match at EB because:
1) Their ridiculous selling prices (AT RRP 95% of the time, not good enough considering most stores sell the newest games at <89 these days) ensure that there are plenty of copies
2) 7 Day return policy.
3) Price matching. They aren't as strict (at least mine isn't) in terms of the "Must be within X km's of our store AND must have stock available". GTA4 for $74 after all the bigw's in my area were drained of their stock? Yes please!

I try not to shop there too often as most staff members dont even know how much memory a PS2 memory card holds...*im not joking* However, the 7 day return policy is a big pro for me and is probably the only reason i continue to buy there......Mind you, not all EB staff are high and low on gaming knowledge...yes i did once work there and im sure djrussel on this site is a fine EB worker as well
