I think .. People with too many choices are becoming harder to please. Does anyone remember when you were a kid how one game was enough value to keep you happy and content for weeks if not months. When finishing a game just meant you could start fresh and do it all again.
My point is, when you have choice you are never going to 100% happy. There will always be greener grass on the other side. However if what you have is all you know.. then its better than nothing at all!!
Ive had just about every possible console from the atari through to the ps3 (many i still have today)..each have their place and have something the others dont. Granted i dont play some of the old systems anymore, but i dont feel like chucking them out just because the last game release was 10 years ago..
I feel as i get a bit older, im starting to understand the term value. Nearly the best thing i have done with the PS3 is to only buy one game at a time. This way, i will get the most value from it.. instead of playing games half way and then stopping to play something else. Im getting weeks dare i say months out them.. just like it was when i was a kid!!
my suggestion.. get one game, play it through, if it wasnt what you were after sell it... and move on to the next option. There is always choice, just dont abuse it or it will reduce the value of your PS3!!!
