Managed to snag a copy today - and my fav game shop let me take it home too. So - I've had a crack at it, 10-15mins so far and the cinematic experience is unlike any other game on PS3 so far. Its really well done........I can tell the story will be mammoth. Gameplay a little clunky to start off with but I guess you do get used to it..........this is a world apart from all other MGS games and so far betters GTA as the top of the pops as far as PS3 is concerned.
U get some sort of a DVD with it too - haven't watched it yet.

I was given an impression that it comes with the game so EB should be dishing them out. I haven't watched the DVD but its got chapters on "Metal Gear 20th Anniversary" "Big Boss - The Origin of snake" "Liquid - The second snake" "Solidus - the third snake" and "Solid - the first snake"

Wow, love the deadsh!t responses. How about just letting people enjoy what they want to enjoy instead of assuming sh!t about them? Just because someone is excited about a game doesnt mean they dont have a life/partner. Im a girl, love my games, have a bf. So take your mother/daddy like bs elsewhere please, its really quite pathetic.

YEah..i went to my local GAMES store and they let me hold my LTD EDITION GAME aswell..I love the OLD SNAKE figurine that comes with it.
I bought the guide book and I'm trying not to open it..
