I miss tech tv too, foxtel's mafia like grip on pay tv in australia needs to be removed. Wheres the competition when all we have is austar and foxtel which are exactly the same thing. Even then you cant choose between the two, because they have an agreement where one company gets exclusive control over a post code. Its no coincidence rupert's political donations/bribes get him everything he wants.
In summary play video games and watch dvd's and dont support the piece of sh!t Australian pay tv industry. ABC 2 has a good video game show i think its called play, i've never watched it but my friend likes it.
EDIT fox sports is supposed to begin HD broadcasting this year, sky tv (uk pay tv) is also owned by murdick and has been broadcasting the EPL in HD for some time. Rupie is hardly going to rush into HD when he controls the entire australian pay tv market, its not like theres anyone to keep up with or stay ahead of. I guess fair competition/trading practices dont apply to people who own shares in the australian government.
