46.6GB of game data and it still uses Dolby Digital. I would have even preferred DTS Surround. It's a shame the game doesn't have PCM or DTS-Master HD audio, if any game would benefit from it, MGS4 is the best candidate. That begs the question, if the game were to use PCM sound, how much space would it require then! Obviously there is an insane amount of dialogue in the game. So I can see why PCM was not an option. Thing is, it is reported that only 2 of the cut scenes in MGS4 are not real time, and are pre-rendered (end of Act 3 and one at the very end of the game). If that's true, then again, I'm even more baffled at what took up all the space.
What are your thoughts? And are we going to see less and less PS3 games with PCM/DTS-Master HD? If yes, it makes me one sad panda.
