how long is the ending cinematic?
ive been told it exceeds 90 minutes..
can anyone confirm or deny this.
not asking what is in it or for any discussion of the ending just purely its running time.
(ie will i need popcorn? LOL)

I think if it went for about an hour including the ending credits. If the ending really did for 90 mins or longer SHEESH... I finished the game at 2am on Monday morning...

Does this mean total video cut-scenes is longer than actual gameplay? Feels that way and i only just finished act 2
The ending lasts just under an hour.

well depends how long it takes you to play through each section. But probably, there are a lot of movies to watch in a Metal Gear Game.
