Why do we have it? Ok, look i guess we have it because it views the amount of votes given to a certain game/accessory/review, but is there really any point to it? We can leave a good or bad comment without the need for it cant we? To be fair we should have Negative/Positive button, balance out the votes that way. Just me b!tching, dont mind me xD Thoughts though?

And the point of it is to give votes things like videos and news. And that decides things like what the video on the front page is and what reviews and news pieces make the fount page. Basically it’s a tool that allows users to highlight the things on the site that they think are "cool" and thus promotes it for more people to see.

Yeh man there is no problem with that. All the major game sites only review one version of the game if its a multiplatform game anyway.
