Playstation 3 Software & Firmware \ Soul Calibur 4: The apprentice ( Spoilers )

Hey guys,

Picked up a copy of soul calibur on thursday for the PS3, loving it so far, except I thought id try unlocking all the characters first, and naturally I wanted to unlock the apprentice. Now to do this you have to play through arcade as darth vader, so ive done this, gotten up to the apprentice, and hes near impossible to beat, hes so quick and uses these crazy force moves. Has anyone beaten him? if so, any tips?

either go train with Darth, or just button bash. hammar a+b+k and move the stick like crazy.

I had already completed story mode with Darthso i had worked out some combos, before having to fight Apprentice

Yeah i had the same problem last night. Best way i found is to assign A+B to R1 which can be done in the game settings.
That way you can just use death grip to kill him by grabbing him (L2) and then immediately pressing R1.
It took my about 3 goes using this technique.
