Hi Guys,

Its norrath back from the dead, lolz. Anyways I have decided to take the plunge and get the ps3 at launch. Yes I know there are many cons by getting something at launch,
( Price, Console Faults, Launch library) but heck I believe i'm getting a good deal here.

Well my local Eb Blacktown has told me that they are accepting trade ins of ps2 and xbox games at $22 a pop. It doesnt matter if their heaps old or watever. So I have 30 games I plan on trading in so $22 x 30= $660, so all that is left to pay is $339.

Now I dont really care about losing my games as I will just back them up as I am legally allowed to since I own them.
( Legal Technicality, LOL ) So it doesnt really bother me. What I am concerned about is this worth it or can I get more on Ebay?

Also I just saw the Toys R Us package which includes Res:fall of man and Motorstorm for $1100, will Eb match this?

Umm yes, I believe Eb would match the offer; they won't match the price though, might just throw in some extras such a discount card.

Theres no way im paying anymore then $50 for motorstorm, iv'e played the demo and there is no way im paying full price for a glorified tech demo. It feels so rushed and incomplete.

Well if they wont match that Toys R Us offer I still get 50% of any game of my choice at launch.

wait... dayme only got 13 games that are can be traded in, rest are copies of the video shop incase I break their copy. guess I do have to sell my Wii, But at least I dont have to spend any money. I just have to sacrifice my wii and 3 games.

Shadowblade if your relating to the multiplayer aspect of motorstorm then yes it is quite good, but dont even think about buying for the single player, only 1 mode and 8 tracks. A complete package for repetitive gameplay.

Say if you have no interest in Motorstorm sell it on ebay, you'll get round $65+. Or do what im planning on doing, If you have a target or kmart near you, say you got the game as a birthday present.

As long as it sealed, they will let you exchange for any ps3 game of same value, if its more expensive, you just pay the difference. Trust me i work at Target. Been there for a year

lol, Yeah I know, I got a slim line chipped though (cheaper then chipping a Phat one) and the only prob is when you load ur back up disc U have to insert another disc first which gets annoying but I am cool with that

I guess I only get $200, oh well.

Any1 know how much the wii and wii Games are worth at a trade in at EB?

I saw some cheap cheap PS2 games at the market once, for like $5. Hmm what if some people buys them and trade them in?

Yeah that sound like a good idea, i was lookin to buy cheap $7 games off ebay, but postage killed it.

Just check with your local Eb as they are a franchise meaning they shoulld all have the same deals, if they dont believe you tell them to ring Blacktown Eb
