Hi, i played a PS3 for first time today and even tho i will be getting one soon, i was a little dissapointed. i am not a nintendo or xbox fan, i like wat i like regardless of brand/prior consoles ive owned etc. i am a mature video game player, and dont really care which console i have just as long as it has heaps of games/genres that i like etc. im not biased to any console, as i have owned most consoles from all companies
ok so now that everyone knows i am being geniune, i wanna say that i played ridge racer 7, motorstorm, sonic, F1 CE and the machine i played in myer was a FULL HD 1080P TV.
ridge racer= terrible, even in 1080P graphics were quite suprisingly bad, with gameplay not too far behind. just didnt seem like a new whizz bang ps3 racing game to me.
sonic= not that great, although i could see how old school sonic fans would like it etc.
motorstorm= pretty cool, although was only a demo but the graphics were good in terms of environment and frame rate... but i found the actual car/bike to be a bit rough round the edges. almost like the concentrated on the stages/frame rate so much they just forgot bout the vehicle (the one you control, not the cpu vehicles). just remember this was on FULL HD 100P tv, so it cannot get any better than 1080P. cool game, just not the cinematic visual experience that i had thought it was goin to be.
