What should I get out of these 2?

i wouldn't recommend those games.. prolly like ratchet & clank, cod4, resistance, uncharted, etc...

Search for Bladestorm! You will enjoy it a LOT more than Dynasty Warriors: Gundam and for a lot longer...

What they are trying to tell you is that both of those games are quite poor and you would probably be better off looking at something else.
Gundam is just terrible. Not a single redeeming feature about it.
Lair would have been a nice game but it's controls are such a mess that it's basically unplayable.
If those are the only choices available you might be better off seeing if you can get the two that you actually like cheaper elsewhere and forget the freebies. Or maybe try another EB and see if they have better choices.

They are two really bad choices bud... highly recommend you avoid them. Go get Kane & Lynch or Rainbow Six, they arnt fantastic games but they are alot more fun

Actually, I have researched them. I already have most of the recommended games for Ps3, save a few.
I know they are both rated poorly, but do I really care? Not particularly, no.
I bet you have not even played them, and you are only judging them by the reviews online.

I have actually narrowed most of the games down. Either I already have them, or they are pretty ****. It comes to these two. I know they rate poorly but they both seem like games I would be interested in.
The only game mentioned in this thread I do not have is Bladestorm. And no, I did not ask for recommendations, I am saying of the two, which would you choose. I didn't think it would be this hard for people to understand my post.

I have played both, I recommend DW Gundam over Lair. I enjoyed DW Gundam more, and it has nice split screen co-op as well.

Bladestorm is a lot of fun. If you have liked previous DW games you'll like bladestorm a lot more than gundam.
Well of the two, I would have to go with gundam. Again mainly for replayability factor and it's quite fun two player split screen too was one of the games I finished with all characters (in japanese).
Lair's controls are its' main drawback mainly due being unable to switch sixaxis features off (unlike sooo many games, heavenly sword, graw2 and warhawk to name but a few). However some people have used a ps2 controller and some were impressed by Remote Play (yes, lair is playable on psp via remote play).

Dynasty Warriors Demo really bored me so I would go with LAIR. Look fun flying around with them dragons.

Seriously, why do people say "oh these games are s***?" Why are they? Because some review journalist gimp says so? So the game is just deemed as crap because some random gives it a 2? Kenzomgwtf hun, i would say get Lair, the controls are abit frustrating at times but you do get used to it if you actually bother using them, motion sensing controls are neato fun & the game looks pretty hot. So i would say go with Lair, but i too plan on purchasing Dynasty Warriors Gundam soon myself Buy it if YOU like it, never base your decision on someone else, its your opinion & your opinion only that counts

I have played both, but i enjoyed Gundam more, i would say rent both and decide your decision on that mate.

ok iv played both and heres the thing, gundam is VERY repetetive and is exactly like dynasty warriors but with robots if u really enjoy that game then go for it but its not my cup of teat, lair has got an amazing storyline gorgeous graphics and one beatiful soundtrack but is hindered with a unresponsive control system and a flawed lock on system
overall i reeeeeeally dont like gundam however lair i kept going till the end because i wanted to see what happened in the story so in the end lair will keep u coming back whereas gundam will get u bored quickly
theres my opinion man hope it helped

Gundam DW is sooooooo sooooooo soooooo sooooo damn awesome, i totally forgot about it lol, well i'm getting it now .
