Why am i not surprised? Dont get me wrong, im no fan troll and i love the 360 as much as the PS3, but its designed like a half built lego castle, in short, its a faulty piece of **** in design, failure rate tells everyone that alone, it sounds loud, like its about to blow up in your face and has a big fugly power unit that should have been built in with the machine. Thank the lord for its great FPS games and Xbox Live, its the saving grace of what is a poorly designed laughably embarrassing console. fantroll or no fantroll, its a fact. Im on my 4th 360 console now, really am getting ****** sick of replacing the thing, dies again, which it will! i'll just make do with my high spec PC.

You know what the funny thing is though, M$oft play the big nice guy act and throw in a 3 year warranty for every **** up the console makes...does that mean i now have a 9 year warranty now? All i ask is to just give me a console that works for the duration of a month atleast!

That's hilarious, thanks so much for the article. I was wanting to pick a 360 sometime in the next couple of months, but the failure rate, multiple game disc AND lack of decent games line-up for 08' is a put-off

I know. What a joke. Blue dragon was one of the first multiple disc games, and Lost Odyssey which was just released is 4 discs <--- FOUR!

That is pretty embarrassing but MS reputation for reliability is already tarnished so I don't think anymore damage will occur for them. In their defense it was shoved into a little perspex box and that can't be too good for heat dissipation, but having said that you reckon a multi billion dollar company would have the smarts to engineer extra cooling to compensate.

Well, I know how I'd have felt about HDDVD if I'd gone the Xbox way. Analog component only, external caddy, cables cables cables. Add to that the phenomenal failure rates. I honestly don't think MS's half backed HDDVD add on did HDDVD any good. In fact I think it harmed it substantially.
