There's only one Singstar game disc for the PS3. The idea is, you can purchase and download new songs off 'SingStore' (provided that your PS3 is somehow connected to the internet).

It's expected that the wireless microphones will be launched in 2008 ... and possibly a new bundle pack (instead of Singstar PS3 + 2 wired mics, you get Singstar PS3 + 2 wireless mics instead).

When they are released ... I think I'll purchase the wireless microphones seperately.

Btw, wiigirl ... do you own a PS2? If yes, do you own the previous Singstar PS2 games? If you do, those wired mics will work with PS3's Singstar ... which means you can just buy the game only (and avoid paying extra for the bundle).

Each song is about AUD$2.50 on the Singstore. A lot of people bitch about it, but it's actually not that bad. You only purchase/download the songs you want, and it works out cheaper than purchasing an entire game disc where you'd only sing to maybe 33% of the songs?

We will probably try return it, hope they accept

Where did you buy it from? You should be able to return it, seeing that the salesperson gave you misleading information ... when you specifically wanted the Playstation 3 version.

If they don't give you a refund, contact ACCC
