Hi all,
Not sure if this has been posted before but I have Condemned 2 on PS3 and it has a KNOWN bug with HDMI or optical sound output which makes it almost unplayable. Sega STILL haven't released a patch for it (though they say they are.)
So if you have HDMI or optical sound, do not buy the game, it has terrible popping and clipping of the sound that makes it unplayable.

I already have a copy of Condemned 2, but I use the red/white/yellow cables (don't have a HD tv

).
Hopefully the problem will be fixed sooner rather than later.

errrr you could change change the setting so its not using the optical hdmi outputs, then it wouldnt be unplayable.

he shouldnt have too. problems like that shouldnt occur and if they do they should be fixed.

I get the problem in optical out. From what I've read it affects HDMI and optical on the 360 and PS3 versions - and whats more it was a problem on the freaking demo too. They are pathetic in not fixing it. But I'm living with it.

It's really sad that the game has been out for so long and Sega/Monolith havent patched it yet. It is especially noticeable if you have a large speaker or home theatre system, it brings out every snap crackle and pop.
Their quality control is absolutely atrocious and I will certainly never be buying anything from Sega again. (Not that they have anything good anyway.) In this day and age releasing what is basically a faulty product is just not acceptable.

I had the problem with my HDMI, but its no biggy. It's certainly not unplayable, I finished the game and its one of the best ive ever played so it cant be all that bad. Yes, it happens every now and again and it can be annoying - but it only became so bad that i had to reset the console once... its not good, i agree, but its still an awesome game.
