So I watched Indy 4 last week and I was discussing with my friend at work today at how disappointing Indy 4 was. I mean how bad was the plot? Anyone agree with me or did they see something I missed?

I thought it was cool. Indiana jones is meant to be over the top. That's why there is all the over the top actions sequences, and unbelievable plots. I do agree that the inclusion of aliens is a bit wierd, but i think it was meant to be a theme for the movie. THhe OLD Indiana Jones with his NEW Son, the mixing of old and new. The old indiana adventure storylines with the more new space/alien adventures, which most movies ar emade about these days. I think it was intended this way anyway?

Exactly what I thought.

If you look back at the other Indy's theyre just movies made for a bunch of fun- this one is no different. I found it even more fun.

Although Shia and the monkeys pissed me off- the movie was still great.

In the Holy Grail it has a bit of a supernatural story to it- so i dont see what was wrong with the ending of this one...

I think a lot of people were dissaponited simple because they were expecting some absolutely amazinf story with all the action and fun- but they forgot- George Lucas wrote it.

I saw Indy 4 last Monday and thought it was pretty good. Some funny parts here and there. Though the ending was really unoriginal. Oh yeah aliens, same with the other 200 movies about aliens becoming all mysterious and powerful-like.

Oh and Shia + New Indy = Yeah, not happening.
