i bought this from gametraders 2 days ago for 60 bucks....
its not very good. tenkaichi games are a LOT better.
DBZ fights are just too epic for this 2D style side view. Gotta be the full 3D Tenkaichi style to do it justice.

Anyway, maybe they will make an expansion to this to include the rest of the sagas instead of a sequel but I liked Tenkaichi 3 at a basic level, ideas really good but lacked polish and all the fighters were essentially the same. Why not continue with the 3D fighter except give the game more depth by making characters different ect. Just my opinion.

To me tenkachi improved the series. Faster pace combat with fully 3d and destructable environments really added to the gameplay. I hope that this game isn't simply a slightly more visually impressive rehash of the boxed in budokai fighting system. Unfortunately early impressions indicate that this could be the case.
guessing the new look hi-res visuals will be a hit with die hard fans but unless bandai revamp the story line mode, this game will feel stale and rehashed
