PS3 News \ Call of Duty 6 to be created by Infinity Ward
Today CEO Mike Griffith confirmed that Infinity Ward, who created Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, will be back to take on another game creation, Call of Duty 6.
Griffith Told:
''In 2009, we expect Infinity Ward to deliver another [entry of] ground-breaking quality, Call of Duty 6.''
Earlier this year the CEO had told the media that Call of Duty 6 would arrive in 2009.
But in the recent published presentation by Griffith's had told that CoD 6 will be out for 2010. Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War, the CEO said that:
''for calendar year 2010, Infinity Ward is already at work on the next installment in the franchise''

Release Date
North America - 11th of November, 2008
Europe - 14th of November, 2008

Yes and no. Infinity Ward are fantastic developers and will make a better game than Treyarch but Call of Duty: World at War uses the same engine CoD4 used and Treyarch have been working with it since before CoD4 was released.
I think it will turn out to be a great game and exceed everyone's initial expectations.
It has flamethrowers that puts it right up there on my list

it's not like Treyarch is deaf they know that COD3 sucked bad! So I think that they will learn from their mistakes and make a good game
