News \ Mortal Kombat vs. DC is coming...
Well, we all know that a new Mortal Kombat game is in development for the now current generation consoles, but it was yesterday when Australian site PALGN reported on the rumor that the next MK title is in fact Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, and today Midway has confirmed this...
Midway haven't revealed too much on this title, however they have said some of the returning characters will include Scorpion and (as shown in the newly released promotional image of the game above) Sub-Zero, with Batman and Superman being the first confirmed DC characters for the game. Kotaku has also reported that the game will feature no "fatalities" since DC doesn't want their characters heads ripped off.
Unfortunately, nothing more was revealed...

lol While all of you are complaining about no fatalities, I don't even play Mortal Kombat, I've only ever played Shaolin Monks which I actually liked and if they're is no fatalities I don't really give a ****, but at least they've taken a different path than the usual MK games, they've done all they can now with them especially in Armageddon, they had tons of characters in that and stuff, so now we will not only get to fight as MK characters but as superheroes which I think is pretty kool...

That is what it is known for..but now an absolute great gore fighter game is going to be released without fatalities...which is about 80% of the gore part. It just wont be the same. I wont be buying this.

there is a line which should not be crossed and i think the line has been crossed you simply cannot mix mortal kombat fighters with marvel fighters..... wats goin on here......as much as i love mortal kombat i thihk it'd b crap... and as for fatalities it would be like have a car without wheels..... just wont work

I am hoping they make a great fighter, if that means no fatalities then so be it.
The SF series never relied on them so it proves they are not needed.

yep, definately would prefer no game at all. its say for example making a terminator 2 game and instead of arnold shooting the hell out of robots he just yells at them to stop killing people instead.
this game is gonna suck the fat one... unfortunately if it does we wont see another MK game again

when they going next gen starting fresh i thought maybe it might be good but i saw the gameplay and stuff its still s#it. The moves are still blocky and stuff and worst of all DC??

I read few weeks ago that Ed BOON was making a Dark MK for the PS3 and Xbox which would be dark, gritty, and bloody. Now they announce this trash!!!
