News \ Afrika will not see release in Europe
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) have announced to Eurogamer their rather elusive video game Afrika will not see a release in Europe, though confirmed a Japan release.
Afrika was officially unveiled in 2006 and is confirmed for an exclusive release on the PlayStation 3 console, however, news on the game itself have been quite slim, with interest only recently re-igniting with the launch of a teaser website for the game www.jp.playstation.com/
It is unknown whether or not Afrika will see release in the U.S. as well, and the fact that Europe will not be getting the game it is yet to be confirmed if Australia won't either ...

im pretty sure its an "africa simulator" ...it simulates the wildlife and landscape of the serengeti which means you can go explore and take photos and watch the authentic animals interact with each other (ie cheetahs chasing there prey, elephants defending their young etc) ....i know its not something for a 13 yr old who plays halo all day but us older gamers appreciate games like this, especially with such a great concept as a game about the serengeti ...think about it, look how many people mourned steve irwin when he died? australians are really wildlife enthusiasts at heart, because we could relate with steves passion for animals, its the way we were brought up around the bush ....i thought sony would have not forgotten about this ....obviously i am wrong.
i am severely dissapointed with sony, i thought they would know better.

OMG when will you people realise that since the PS3 is a HD console, there IS no NTCS vs PAL games anymore!
The same game from the US would use the same graphic mode as a game from UK...
ummm no... I think hes saying since the PAL region consists of basically us, and europe, they would not go to the trouble of releasing the game (PAL) in Australia.

I dont understand why they would not release it worldwide, if someone really wants it they will just import it as it will be region free, unless it doesnt have english at all.

Great work on this mordillo! Yeah hopefully we do get this game. It would be interesting to see what its like. But we always have the same as Europe though.
