I have been thinking about buying the latest and most basic model of the PS3 however i was wondering if with linux installed can you run a PS2 Emulator On the PS3?

Probably as they were just sick of people hassling them with support issues as it was so cruddy.

This won't happen for a long time... If anything, people might have to decipher the PS3 firmware and reverse engineer a PS2 emulator from the software emulation used to play real PS2 games on a PS3. Then port it to Linux.
