OK So I purchased a 360 Pro pack a little over a month ago, and the model I received straight off the shelf was faulty. Fraught with constant crashes and certain games that would not even run. Having been a new console it was easy to replace, straight over the counter from EB.
5 weeks later my second console is exhibiting the same behavior as the first, crashes have become more frequent and games such as Blue dragon can barely be played for 10 minutes without crapping themselves.
So in the short space for a month I am 2 for 2, don't get me wrong, I am not whining... I do not mind sending my console away to be repaired, it is more the fact I am left with little confidence that the next console will work. Having been an owner of pretty much every console since the Atari 2600, I have never had a console break down, even after many years of use. For a console to break down twice in the space of a month is just ludicrous. As far as I am concerned Microsoft need to lift their game big time, yes a 3 year extension is great, but why couldn't you build a quality console in the first place.
Beware the 360.
