News \ Sony Thanks Warner
According to Next-Gen.biz, Sony man Howard Stringer has given his thanks to the team over at Warner for going Blu-Ray exclusive and ditching HD-DVD.
Speaking at CES in Las Vegas, Stringer said, "As you can probably guess, all of us at Sony are feeling blue today...but that's a good feeling. I'd like to thank Warner for making the decision to release in home video in Blu-Ray [which is] in the long-term interests of consumers.”
All we have to say is "ouch" for HD-DVD.

Think the writing's on the wall for HD DVD.
The fact B. Gates has just announced that a HD DVD will not be included in new versions of the Xbox is significant...he knows the race has already been won.
Went to Target today. Twenty eight Blu-ray titles...five HD DVD!!! says it all really.
