You're saying Resistance is better than Halo? The only reason you think it's overrated is because you loved it so much that you expected it the be the absolute nirvana of gaming. And Resistance is the only FPS on PS3?? Well, I guess when you're starving, anything tastes good...

hey just wondering wat setup u got? i played my ps3 on my friends rear projection tv, and on my parents widescreen crt tv and i wasnt impressed that much either. But on my 1080p tv it does look nice.

I've got a 110cm LG Plasma running at 1080i. Looks ok, but should look a damn sight better you know... saddens me the xbox is much better at the moment

The ps3 "kicked off" in November so its weeks away from being half a year old, and the 360 is closer to 1.5 years old taking into account the north American and Japaneses launches. People are right to assume the 360 has had a year head start but wrong in thinking the ps3 has just kicked off as it is almost half a year old.

ZOMG you just instantly put me off buying a Ps3 and Resistance. The HALO games are undeniably terrible, the first being obviously worse than the second. I played through each of them and can't think of another time in my life where i was so BORED. I got 10x more satisfaction and fun from playing through both Metroid Prime games, and 100x more from playing through Zelda: Twilight Princess.

All companies do, but not to the extent that Sony does, (i.e. Microsquish have never *blatantly* lied). Look at all their pre-rendered trailers and faux screenshots... MS might not be angels, but compared to Sony they ****ing are!!! Then you wonder why people are disappointed?? guys u have to understand that the 360 has been out for more than a year now, and it uses direct X which is technology that every game developer knows how to use... The PS3 is totally new technology, no one has ever used it before. Compare the games that came out at the PS2 launch to the games now, they look shocking.

Yeah but 360 owner's have to buy another 360 if they want HDMI features. Still no HD-DVD drive or Wi-Fi so the cost really adds up where the ps3 has it built-in and still gives us the option to use it.

The pic comparing the 2 PS3's are called a prototype and the final product, most companies do this with their hardware, im sure you know this but are just trying to stir trouble here.
And the first pic about the world wide launch..well, things change, that pic was probably taken months before November when the plan WAS to launch worldwide.

Oh wait i just came to my senses and realised you are probably right!! and they planned to deceive us from the beginning!!?!?!
