I actually got a new Yamaha 7.1 channel amp on the weekend which seems to be amplifying the PS3 video signal into my projector, I swear it looks 10 times better than it did before. It even upscales my Foxtel which is now a joy to watch.

The sound isn't to shabby either.

Entice: No! We don't get "more cars than them". There is only 10 cars in the demo. The only difference is Force Feedback Wheels are supported, same as in 1.2 in US. So no difference, just st00pid numbers game...

I personally couldn't care less for upscaling, I want my Background to be what I want! (oh and more demos... )

Yeah you just select system update on the XMB. If there is an update available you get a message at the top of your screen notifying you & you can't log in to your account until you update.

I usually download the update off the Sony website as it is alot faster, then transfer it to the PS3 on a memory card & install.

You could play MGS3 previously - altho very glitchy (had to save a lot to make sure u didnt get frozen).

But since the latest update you can only play MGS2: Substance (even though the cut scenes glitch and the freeze if you dont skip through them).

Sucks.
