I played the demo today and I'm a little disappointed. The graphics are good (not perfect but what you would expect from a demo) the presentation is 10 quality but what really lets the game down is the driving physics (feels like I'm slipping around on ice). Some people may like it, but coming from a game as tight as GT5p it is like playing a PS1 game.

I spent most of the time doing doughnuts on the track and I think this game will be great if they include a sort of 'free run' where there is an open space to muck around in.
I found this game one that you want to love but just can't.
Your thoughts?

EDIT: I've given this game so more time and I've learnt to play it like an arcade game more than a simulator. The driving physics are there for more fun. I'm really looking forward to this game.

i dont think it stands up to the old versions of race driver. the car physics are always in the extremes, either to slippery or to ...um...jolty, like u either slide off a corner or go round it in a flash without taking ur finger off the trigger

Hahaha wise words my friend. Just keep playing, you'll begin to like it. Remeber: play it like an arcade racer, hit a few people, accelerate round corners. Take it easy on the throttle when coming out of a corner tho.
