Just turned on my ps3 and it loaded up
but the xmb isnt showing up on the screen
all you can see is the background
whats going on ???
Huh... that's weird. Turn it off then turn it off again with the back switch. Hopefully that'll do the trick..

the hard disk corrupted and it has to restore itself 
Oooooh, well that's a cold slap in the groin. So does that mean all you saved game data is erased?

now every time i turn it on its say the hard disk it corrupted and ive restored it like 3 times but it keeps coming back up

i thought i had a problem with mine..cause it kept freezing...
it did and i got it fixed 
but same thing happened with my psp..i got annoyed and took it apart.. replaced the memory stick drive and it worked... just send it back to sony asap...they ask alot of question so be prepared and it takes about 8 buisness days or like 2-3 weeks to be fixed...they dont actually fix your ps3 they just give you a fixed one.. which is stupid to why it should take 2-3weeks and they pay for the postage and handling they send you an email with a barcode that your local post office scans...
anyway nuff bout that..try googlin it?

The hard drive is stuffed so if under Warranty send it back and if not just buy a sata 2 1/2" hard drive and replace it
