News \ Metal Gear Solid 4 Release date and bundle
Konami and Sony have joined forces to bring you a new Playstation 3 system bundle. Coming to America and Japan and presumably Europe in June. The new bundle will include The 80 gigabyte playstation 3, Metal Gear solid 4 and a dual shock 3. The system will cost $500 USD in the US. Sony has not yet announced a price for Australia.
Also Konami has announced the official release date for MGS4. It will be available world wide on the 12 of June.
So prepare your codec’s and get your octo camo on as Solid Snake is coming to the PS3 in June

Jap is getting 3 sku's of mgs4
There is a preorder version going to be available.
This preorder has two discs, the game and a vid disc which brings the viewer up to speed with the last 20 years of mgs. It also features the trailers released and character profiles for all those you meet in mgs4.
The preorder edition also includes a pass thingy for the beta release of MGO. Japan is recieving a public beta of MGO in april, so all those with a Jap PSN, this is for you 
MGO will have a starter edition on the mgs4 disc, which for details visit mgstus or read the konami anouncement.

This isn't set for a Europe release yet.. in other words, us in PAL regions, (AUS, NZ, EUR) won't be seeing this.
There has been announcements of other packs being released (bluray with 300 spiderman 3 and casino royale, and another pack with GT5 prologue.
So i guess we may not see this amazing pack.. im not too worried though, i've already got a ps3, just need MGS and a dualshock

If you haven't played the others you wont understand much....it's however a truly awesome franchise!

It's a totally different style and i don't think it will have online aspects (not sure)but it'll be an awesome game none the less.

This may be the moment i actually buy a ps3, i've got a 360 atm and want a ps3 for Blu-Ray and MGS4.

Oh man, I've been considering getting a second PS3 to play region B Blu Rays... I wonder how much it would be retailed.
