I've never prank called anyone but i have had someone play a prank call on me. It was around midnight when i got the call, answered the phone and got this reply "heavy breathing......"Whats your fave scary mooooooooooovie!!!!!!!"* I just calmy said "The Exorcist wasnt too bad, how cool was the spiderwalk scene?" I just said it casually, the guy was pissed off because he knew his scare tactic act wasnt working! How i rofl'ed afterwards! Still felt pretty uncomfortable after the call though, as you would!

Do you know I got called by a tellemarketer and when i picked up it said 'please hold the line...all our operators are busy but one will be with you soon'. WTF!!!
Anyways, me and my bros were at our neighbours and we were ringing up random numbers. We asked one guy how much corn he was eating per week coz we were from the ABC (Australian board of corn). And he full on got into an argument with us!! he was like why the hell would you eat corn...it tastes like s**t.
Also we rang up one guy asking for someone and he said he wasn't home and we should ring back later...so we did

One of my favorites is ringing up a convenience store and asking is it convenient for me to come and rob them...
Me and a mate used to play a game where we'd prank someone by trying to engage them in a conversation. We'd pick people out of the phone book whose name is fully listed as ring them up... The usual conversation would be:
Us: Hey Bill! Guess who this is?
Them: Are is it Jeff?
Us: That's right...
We'd then ask generic questions in order to keep them talking as long as possible, such as Hows's Work, How's the missus and How's the kids...
My mate in particular was really good at this and often had people on the phone for 15 minutes plus before they worked out what was happening...

This is really old & proberly now considered stupid & not that funny compared to what goes on these days but when I was maybe 10 (20 plus years ago) it seemed funny.

Wouldnt work on me, the first second I hear the indian voice on my phone I hang up , Im with Optus & they proberly have the same call centres as Telstra but if I need them Ill ring them, theres no need for them to ring me so prank call or not they dont last more than 5 seconds.

Before i turned 21 some chick calls saying i had won the opportunity for a holiday, but i had to be 21 or over.. I told her i wasn't old enough so she asks: "can i speak to your mum then"? I say back to her: "she kinda packed up and left, skipped the country, I don't really want to talk about it.." The chick on the phone was sooo apologetic.. Was quite amusing
