COD4 9/10
- Great online mode with a tonne of depth makes up for the single player campaign, which compensates for a short length by constantly throwing mind blowing moment after mind blowing moment at you. Easily the must own title for the PS3.
Ratchet and Clank 8.5-9/10
- Great game from a great series made by a great developer. My only issue is the lack of innovation in the game. There are new weapons, but the difference between this game and last gen was very minimal aside from graphics (I mean, all the PS2 sequels had different weapons from it's predecessor).
DMC 8/10
- Good game, I dislike playing as nero (they should have made another badass character that didn't look like dante, rather than a whiny teenager that does look like dante). Alot of the issues I overlooked last gen (because the series was so fresh and I was glad it got back it's form with DMC3) haven't been fixed. Camera, the inability of the protagonists to move horizontally with their jumps and a really pointless story really detract from what is overall a good game.
Much like pensky, I don't give 10/10's purely because it should have to be the holy grail of a particular genre for me. Mine's a little different in that the game can have it's issues, but they are so minor (imo) in the grand scheme of things that the game doesn't lose its perfection. The only game I would really consider a 10/10 would be Final Fantasy VIII.
