How do you complete this event? You have to overtake 15 cars in a short lap in a Integra R I think.
bugger me the best I can get is 6, and to do that I drive like an idiot, catapulting my car into corners and bouncing off the other cars.
It seems impossible? And the first car is a Mini Cooper S

There doesn't seem enough time for that. Spend too long behind cars and you have no chance.
I've even dumbed down the racing model to try and make it easier i.e. driving line on, not pro sim, active steering etc.

Yeah. I tried it a few times and had to goto time trial to practice the circuit and get line and breaking points right.
Once i had done that it only took 4 goes to work out where the AI cars went and how to get around them. Also find the suggested line is not always the best.
