After updating and registering I read that the Game ID isn’t viewable when playing as you pick a name for your character which will be your online name so whats the point in this Game/Konami ID? Also whats up with the payment crap? What are they expecting us to pay for? To play? I thought the PSN was free? I know its Konami but still its on PS3? Anyone know? Fair enough it could be just about content but its put me off a bit.

apparently you name your character, so i think you can have multiple characters assigned to a common Game id.
But if either shows, i believe it would be the Game ID
