To be honest, I'm also excited about those 2D Trophies that might be released in the new firmware in June.
I just want to know what games will have 2D Trophies, so I can start 'working' towards them 
I'm presuming these 2D Trophies will be "carried across" to the 3D ones in HOME? =/

I thought I would provide some news from the Playstation Home Beta!
Today 25/06/08 - Beta has been updated to 0.94.2 and is getting closer to the Open Beta!
The next update promises to finally add more people to the beta! That has been promised to us on the 10th of July!
Overall this update looks a LOT more polished than the prev Beta, and I hope you guys will be able to join me soon!

Not yet, but I wil be updating from the beta forums with any info that will show up.
BTW I also believe that the scheduled maintenance last nite was for the Beta Update, as they also mentioned that they moved Home to a more permanent server and now updates should be modular!

Character takes about 2 mins to design....
You can access your wardrobe pretty much anywhere and store up to 8 custom characters...
Lag is and has been a non-issue. I didn't notice any lag when I was on a 256k line and even less on a 1024k line that I have now...
