The most overhyped games i've played were Mario Galaxy on Wii and The Getaway on PS2...absolute sh!t games i think...

I loved Driver 3! I think GT5 Prologue was seriously over-hyped, and whilst it's awesome, GTA4 was probably hyped up a little too much. No game in the foreseeable future could possibly live up to the excessive craze that game attracted.

Actually Unchrated received little hype but was a very good game overall. And R&C having lots of hype? Yeah that barely happened.

I'm surprised that i'm not seeing lots of hype for MGS4. Either people are holding it in or June may seem far away to some people.

I agree totally. Mario Galaxy for me was one of the best games I've ever played. I'm sick of this fanboyism that surrounds a few people on this sight. But back to the original thread....Assasins Creed.

GTAIV had a lot of hype. Although I haven't played it yet to see if it's worth the hype (I'm waiting for it to come down in price, then I'll make my own desicion on the game
