If you want better pings go for Internode adsl2+. I've got Internode and there is a specific setting you can adjust just for gaming. You can change your line type from "regular" to "low-latency". Each of these settings have descriptions and obviously the low-latency option is primarily for gaming and fast downloading as it states.
p.s. I get an average ping of 10-15 with 3 computers and 2 ps3 online. Lowest was 7.

I'm on that exact plan to, really good. I was on 20mbps with 12gb download but I just changed over to that plan because no-one needs 20mbps

I love TPG, In american games im usally getting 2 bars which is still alright for playing in cod4. Havent had any downtime yet
