hiya i have just signed up and wanted to reply. yesterday seemed the worst day of my life first my beloved geelong was thrashed by the pies so i decided to vent my frustration online playing cod4. after a 2-3 hours i could it quits and turned off my ps3. today it would not play any games.....it would just show a blank screen , no dvds, blue ray discs would work either. so i read this and thought oh no my ps3 is in the pooh! i rang the sony help line.......the first guy told me to reset the default settings and leave it off for 45 minutes (i don't know why i left it off for 45 minutes but i did) nothing happened. i rang again and the next guy said he would send me an email and i would have to send my ps3 off with australia post in a box. i backed up all my saved games etc onto some flash cards and then decided to format the hard drive just to give it one more shot..........and it works!!!! all my games work!! bloody rippa...
