That article doesn't say it's fake anyway:

It said 'apparent fake list', I believe it is real & this is SONY in their classic deny deny deny mode.

Remember they denied home existed before the GDC conference in March?

Well today is also the end of 'Sony Gamers Day' in the states and there is a new rumor that the update was revealed there too.

There should be lots of info regarding the gamers day on the net soon as it ends in a couple of hours and the embargo will be lifted on the people who attended.
