I just made a purchase off eStarland, awaiting for my order at Play-Asia to be shipped and I'm considering purchasing Initial D (JPN) off Yes Asia. Or should I purchase the Asian version ... (I don't think I'll be playing online that often ...)

yeah this game is very close im thinking limited ed. cause its only $89 at jbhifi i dunno the standard. Hopefully they have heaps of Ltd Ed cause i havent pre-ordered.

Yeah but no where on that ad does it say you only get the tin case & not the original plastic case, the ad still shows both. Not saying your wrong but it seems a bit weird that they wouldnt give you the original case inside the tin case.

I'm just saying the BBC one was tin with the disc going directly in the tin case, however there were no pics showing both case like in the SC pic above.

The tin casing is similar to those of BF:BC Gold Edition, R6V2 Limited Edition (Pre-order only & Import versions) and also DMC4 Special Edition (very limited in AU).
BTW, atm the Tin Case version are only offered on pre-orders from EB and JBOnline.

The Gold Edition is in a tin casing, the Standard version is in a normal plastic casing.

Haven't you ever seen what an awesome tin case looks like? It's not what you think it is.
I know exactly what it is, Ive seen them for other PS3 games in stores.
