That's a very personal and delicate matter...the best way is to listen to the ones available or look for a brand you like and listen to them (if you can find them that is).

Also, those speakers may need to match your receiver as well.

their a bit out of my price range atm but down the track i may investigate further into those

It only has the normal audio ones(the red/white ones). It still gives out really good sound while your watching TV or playing PS3.

The Dick Smith speakers don't really sound that bad either, certainly not what I would expect from $30 speakers.

Alright, I got it. The speakers are Logitech Z-5500 Digital. They normally go for about $700, but one of the computer stores in the Green Guide sells them for much cheaper. Can't remember if I paid $450 or $350, but either way it was a great deal.

DAVIS10! .. cept its not listed on their site anymore.. has golfball-sized speakers, and the sound is absolutely amazing!

My dad has an old KRF-V9993D and the matching 5 disc DVD player. Its still going strong!

My setup ****s all over his now. LOL

The Dali Ikons are not too bad at all. Im looking at getting rid of my Vaf front 3 for a pair of stand mounts... Centre to come later.

Anyone after some Vaf DC7s and DC6 centre??
