so how do i get ps2 games with net play to work on my ps3, games like c.o.d 2 and mgs snake eater. it just states install network set up disk(which i haven't got)?

if you have an american PSN account(just make a new user on your ps3 and make a new PSN account for them and put your contry as united states you need a valid us postal adress as well (use the internet to find one))
you can download the setup software from the US playstaion store

are you refering to the ps2 system data? I've done that just won't let me get any further,i'll try again later after i've dl the new firmware you guys are on about.

yeh the PS2 system data from the US playstaion store should do it for you.
if you have already downloaded it and its still not working try 2 things
get rid of it off your vertuial memory card and just try to play them online
if that dosnt work just try downloading it agin

im not sure iv havnt done it my self but i will probaly just become a "bubble" icon under the game tab after you have downlaoded it and then just click on it to install it
