I guess... well they must be doing something right... but that doesn't stop it from being an over-priced sandwich press. It owes a lot to Bluray as well... Sony is only holding the price of standalone Bluray players higher than the PS3, so they sell more PS3's...

you can do this on a ps3 as well you just need to get any bluetooth head set and conect it to your ps3 there only like $10 or so on ebay.

There is solid proof for official numbers that the Wii is selling 2.5 times what the PS3 currently is in Australia.

yes i do agree with this even though i own a wii and that game. similar to what happened with red steel - shockin issues with control. I think it is becoz the wii initially was taken seriously enough and developers aren't spending enough time on developing perfect (not shoddy) wii remote control. but just remember, its much better bein involved in the game than simply hittin a button for how hard to swing and another for direction accuracy n other **** like other consoles so it'll be all sweet - control accuracy will get a lot better with the next wave of games.

Living in denial ain't healthy

The reason this site ‘seems dead’ is simply because PS3 owners love to play with their consoles and might prefer spending quality time playing games over forum posting.

But on the real though, every time somebody mentions anything about console sales figures, all hell breaks loose and a console war erupts, honestly people, where’s the love? I reckon people should just be happy/content with whatever console they have so that they don’t feel the need to derogate other consoles in order to feel complacent with their own.

Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, but the realization of how much you already have so be thankful that we are privileged enough to own something that not everybody possesses.

So lets look at end of sales figures as after all thats all any company is interested in....

Wii: 2592 Units @ $400 = $1036800
PS3: 924 @ $1000 = $924000
360: 840 @ $550 = $462000

Now goin on the Wii outselling the PS3.. If the PS3 was the same price as the Wii, then we should multiply its sales by 2.5.. = 2310 units. I think we can see at the end of the day the PS3 & Wii are selling equilly well respectively.

The ps3 has done a remarkable job to include the Blu-ray player for which a stand alone player cost the same. "SONY" Is a household name so don't get me started on the Wii vs PS3 saga. The Nintendo Wii can only play games not do what the xbox360 and ps3 can.
The hardware inside the Wii, you don't see the Wii costing $1000 do you?! but in hinesight The Nintendo Wii has proven it sells without any decent games or therefore lack of.
